The Hermantown boys hockey team Wednesday night unveiled its new jerseys for Hockey Day Minnesota on its social media pages.

According to head coach Pat Andrews via Twitter: "The logo is from the sign which greeted the community to outdoor hockey in Hermantown, before our Arena. These jerseys pay tribute to the countless volunteers, and coaches, who have made our outdoor Rink Rat culture possible, and they honor the success which has followed."

The Hawks are set to face Mahtomedi Jan. 28 in White Bear Lake as part of Hockey Day Minnesota. The game is set for 1 p.m. in a matchup of Class A boys hockey powers.
