🏒 Forward Max Plante of Hermantown has three assists and is minus-4 in six games for the U.S. National Under-17 hockey team. The U.S. will host the USHL's Chicago Steel in a two-game series this weekend. His older brother, Zam, is on the Steel roster but has not played in the team's first six games due to an upper body injury suffered in the playoffs last season.
🏒 Former Hermantown High standout Cole Koepke made his NHL debut with the Tampa Bay Lightning against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night. The rookie forward player 7:51, was held scoreless and had one shot on goal. A Twitter post by Hawks High coach Patrick Andrews: "So proud of you @CKoepke27, you’ve earned it!!!! Your hard work is paying off, your goals are becoming realities, and your dreams are coming true."
