Hermantown junior Natalie Vitek was named to the Duluth News Tribune All-Area Softball Team this week after a standout season in which she led the Hawks to the Section 7AAA Championship game.
Vitek notched a 13-4 record with 172 strikeouts in the circle for Hermantown on her way to being named to the Class AAA All-State Second Team. Offensively, the junior also hit .397 with 15 RBI and 22 runs scored.
