Baseball – at Proctor, 4:30 p.m. Game Notes: Hermantown (6-5-1) lost to Proctor 2-0 on April 23, at Proctor’s Egerdahl Field. The Hawks defeated Chisago Lakes 8-4 last Friday at Ed Mettner Field in Cloquet. Hermantown wraps up regular-season play with doubleheaders at Grand Rapids on Tuesday and Bemidji Thursday. The Hawks started the regular season with three straight victories. Junior pitcher-catcher River Freeman has been Hermantown’s best player all season.

Softball – Section play-in game, TBA. Game Notes: Hermantown (4-9) enters the post-season on the heels of four straight losses, at Grand Rapids 3-2, against Hibbing 9-2 at Rose Road Field, at Duluth East 5-2 and against Chisago Lakes 8-4 at Rose Road Field.
