Hermantown freshman Ferrah LaLone qualified for the 2023 Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) State Cross Country Championship with an impressive time of 20:38 at the Section 7AA meet Thursday at Hibbing Golf Course.
The state cross country meet is set for Saturday, Nov. 4, at University of Minnesota Les Bolstad Golf Course. The 5000-meter girls Class AA race is scheduled to start at 2:45 p.m.
