Hawks Activities This Week

WEDNESDAY


Girls Tennis -- vs. Buffalo and Duluth East, at Longview Tennis in Duluth, 11 a.m. The Hawks fell to nonconference Simley 7-0 in their 2023 season and home opener Friday afternoon. Hermantown is led by captains Hannah GravesMorgan LeValley and Kalea Homich.


Volleyball -- Hermantown will host an eight-team Lake Superior Conference preseason jamboree, starting at 5 p.m.


THURSDAY


Boys and Girls Cross Country -- The Hawks will participate in a 13-team meet at Chub Lake in Carlton.



Girls Tennis -- The Hawks will face Bemidji at 11 a.m. and Perham at 1 p.m. in nonconference matches in Bemidji.



Boys Soccer -- The Hawks will play host to non-conference Benilde-St. Margaret's at 1 p.m. at Centricity Stadium.


Girls Soccer -- The Hawks will visit nonconference North Branch at 7 p.m.



Volleyball -- Hermantown will host Duluth Marshall in a Lake Superior Conference match at 7 p.m.


FRIDAY


Girls Tennis -- The Hawks will face nonconference St. Francis at 11 a.m. at Laura MacArthur Courts in West Duluth.



Girls Soccer -- Hermantown will host nonconference Zimmerman at 3 p.m. at Centricity Stadium.


Boys Soccer -- The Hawks will host Mesabi East at 5:30 p.m. at Centricity Stadium, capping off a Hermantown girls and boys soccer home doubleheader.



SATURDAY


Football -- The Hawks will participate in preseason scrimmages against Esko and Duluth East in Esko, starting at 9 a.m. Hermantown's returning standouts: junior quarterback Alex Schott, a rising college prospect, and senior wide receivers-defensive backs Peyton Menzel and Brody Summers.
