The Minnesota Robotics Coaches Association announced recipients of postseason awards Tuesday, with Hermantown senior Lars Erickson earning all-state honors in the category of leadership.
Erickson was the captain of the Talons who placed second at the Minnesota State High School League FIRST Robotics State Tournament last weekend.
Additional categories recognized the the MRCA included All-State Team Academic Awards, and individual awards in Programming, Design, Build Team, Business, Competition, Section Coaches of the Year, State Coaches of the Year and MRCA Hall of Fame inductees.
All award recipients were recognized on May 6th, 2023, at Williams Arena on the campus of the the University of Minnesota.
