Proctor/Hermantown held on to defeat Mankato East 4-3 in the Class A girls hockey state quarterfinal today at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Reese Heitzman scored two goals and Nya Sieger and Ella Rothe also scored for the Mirage (20-6-2), who advanced to face either Luverne vs. Orono in a semifinal Friday at 11 a.m. at Xcel.

The Section 7A high school boys hockey semifinal games originally scheduled for Thursday, February 23 have been postponed due to weather to Monday, February 27.
Wyatt Carlson and Dallas Vieau each scored three goals as Hermantown defeated North Shore 15-1 in a Section 7A quarterfinal Tuesday night at Hermantown Arena.
