We are excited to introduce Online Registration for Hermantown Community Schools!
This system is expected to decrease the amount of paperwork families need to complete during enrollment and at the beginning of the school year.

You will need the following documents in electronic form in order to complete the registration process

1. Proof of Residency (only one needed; current families will need to resubmit proof of residency):

   • Property Tax statement, stating that parent with whom student is living is homesteading at the address given.  (A business address does not qualify for resident status.)

   • Signed statement from landlord or copy of signed lease if renting.

   • Purchase agreement with bank or contractor financing the home.

   • If residing in housing provided by the Federal Corrections facility, the identified official with authority will provide a letter on their stationery, verifying residency

   • Please note: if you are approved for open enrollment you do not need to provide proof of residency. 

2. Birth Certificate or Passport:

   • The school district requires all students entering Hermantown for the first time to provide a birth certificate or passport to verify their age. Students will not be able to start school until it is on file in the office.

3.   Immunization Records:

   • State law requires evidence of immunization.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION:

1. Existing Hermantown Resident Families (this option is for families that have a student currently enrolled)

• Step 1: Please verify Parent Portal Access

• Step 2: Register NEW students through Parent Portal (instructions)

  • This entire process should take approximately 10-15 minutes

2. NEW Hermantown Resident Families (this option is for NEW families that have no students currently enrolled)

• Step 1: Determine Resident District (use this link)

• Step 2: If Hermantown School District is listed, please complete the Online Registration

  • This entire process should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
